Bookstore Volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers to help in our bookstore! Please complete a volunteer application form at the City's website and we'll reach out to you about training as soon as it's approved.

Fundraising
Visit our DPIL web page to learn more about this wonderful program! We need volunteers to help with fundraising to support this program in Marion. Email DPIL@marionpubliclibrary.org to ask about possible ways to get involved.
Grant writing
We are always looking for volunteers with some expertise in grant writing to help us support the program. Email DPIL@marionpubliclibrary.org.
Preschool visits
Would you like to visit local schools and preschool programs to promote our DPIL affiliate and encourage registrations? Ask Cheryl at DPIL@marionpubliclibrary.org.
Better World Books Scanning
All donations are scanned and, if accepted, shipped to Better World Books.
Scanning
We can often use volunteers to help scan donated books and books that have been withdrawn from the library, separate scanned books between Better World Book boxes and our sale boxes, and shift the boxes to the appropriate locations. Reach out to us at Friends@marionpubliclibrary.org.
