We have book sales three times each year, usually in March, July, and November -- although our first 2025 sale is scheduled for April 4-6! (So get THAT one on your calendar!)
We also sell some collectible books at Amazon's Marketplace and at online used bookseller Alibris, so check out what's available from us there!

Our Friends' Bookstore is open whenever the library is open. We're located directly across from the main floor library Information Desk. Stop in each time you visit to see what's new! We have a frequently refreshed collection of books in all genres and for all ages, as well as a fun selection of book-themed merchandise, and our prices can't be beat! All proceeds support the library. Come see us!
We are happy to accept your donations of gently used hardcover, softcover, and children's books. Please use your good judgement; if the book is too worn for your personal collection, it's unlikely we can re-sell it.
We do not accept donations of music CDs, DVDs, or other media. We will accept magazines if they are no older than two months.
Drop off your donations to our friendly bookstore volunteers anytime during regular library hours, or if you'll need assistance getting your books into the library, email FriendsBookDonations@marionpubliclibrary.org to arrange a time. We can provide receipts for tax purposes.
