Be sure to get our summer book sale on your calendars now! SUMMER SPECIAL: Support the Library Pantry by donating personal hygiene items and get a FREE book!
You won't want to miss our great deals on books and puzzles. There will be a bake sale on Saturday and Sunday while supplies last, and our folded paper crafts will be available to buy all weekend.
We accept cash, checks, and card (and yes! you can tap-to-pay!).

- Friday, July 17 4:00-5:00 Members Only (Join at the Door)
- Saturday, July 18 9:00-5:00 Everyone Welcome!
- Sunday, July 19 1:00-5:00 Bag for $5 (bags provided)

We Welcome Your Donations
We are happy to accept your donations of gently used hardcover, softcover, and children's books. Please use your good judgement; if the book is too worn for your personal collection, it's unlikely we can re-sell it.
We do not accept donations of music CDs, DVDs, or other media. We will accept magazines if they are no older than two months.
Drop off your donations to our friendly bookstore volunteers anytime during regular library hours, or if you'll need assistance getting your books into the library, email FriendsBookDonations@marionpubliclibrary.org to arrange a time. We can provide receipts for tax purposes.

Get Involved with a Friends' Membership!
We have several membership levels and would love to have you join us in our work supporting the Marion Public Library!
- Join as a Supporting Friend ($25 for one-year) and get a 5-punch card for FREE books, early access to our book sales (three times per year), and invites to Friends' events.
- Join as a Friend-for-Five ($100 for five years) and get TWO 5-punch cards for FREE books, early access to our books sale, and invites to Friends' events.
- BEST OPTION! Join as a Sustaining Friend ($5/month minimum) at get a 5-punch card for FREE books, early access to book sales, invites to Friends' events, and a FREE canvas book bag! (Consider us as a monthly Latte!)
